Charitable Purposes

The Company’s object is to pursue the following charitable purposes:

The maintenance and strengthening of Aboriginal culture and the recognition of the role of Elders in our society;

Fostering respect and recognition of Australia’s Aboriginal people and their rights;

Advancing reconciliation between the various sections of the community;

Furthering health of Aboriginal people through programs and other initiatives including empowering community people to maintain healthy lifestyles and better management of chronic disease and through a collaborative approach with medical, clinical and non-clinical service providers;

Undertaking social programs for the benefit of Aboriginal people in the areas of education, training, public advocacy and related areas;

To promote better financial management, governance and economic opportunities in Aboriginal communities;

Any other purpose benefiting the public in keeping with the above purposes.
