Noel Bridge

Board Director

Noel was significantly involved in the establishment and ongoing operations of the Not-for-Profit entity created by his late father, Ernie Bridge. He developed several key projects associated with UFPA including an Indigenous skills preparation and recruitment program for the WA Police Service, preventative health related programs and community justice program (established to improve the livelihoods of Aboriginal people).

He has a vast set of experiences, networks and associations and is fully aware of the wide array of social, economic and political issues that impact on many Aboriginal communities. He is a Gidja man and has a high level of understanding of the cultural sensitivities and protocols in facilitating business with Aboriginal people and communities. His experience extends to negotiations involving culturally sensitive matters and projects involving both the public and private sector, specifically including the mining, telecommunications, property and financial services industries.

UFPA acknowledges the local Indigenous people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We pay our respects to the Elders past and present of these nations and extend that respect to other Indigenous people.
